Atlas' N scale locomotive is modeled after GE's B23-7 diesel engine with 2250 horsepower and a distinctive carbody. Identified by its wide radiator and power assembly access doors that are just forward of the step in the hood, the B23-7 was built starting in 1977 and is still in service today.
